I now offer support completely online via Zoom.
The frequency of therapy sessions depends on the individual and their goals. Some clients prefer to meet weekly, while others may meet bi-weekly or monthly. This is also something that we can discuss during/straight after the initial consultation.
Absolutely! Everything we discuss in our sessions is held in confidence.
We can work with many different issues but we do not work with clients who have mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, epilepsy, psychosis or a personality disorder. It is also not advisable if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you are in any doubt, please speak to your G.P. for advice.
Payment is always taken in full after the initial consultation via bank transfer. I will send an invoice directly to you before the commencement of any sessions we have together. Flexible payment plans are also available so please let me know if this would be a more preferable option for you.
This really depends on how much you engage with the process and how committed you are. The more time and energy you put in, the more benefit you will experience.
This is a common misconception but you will be aware of yourself and your environment and remain in control at all times! The work we do relies on how we use language to affect positive change. It is a gradual process that leads to positive subconscious shifts as to how we feel and perceive.
A remote reiki treatment is carried out in much the same way as it would be in person, visualising the energy flowing to the recipient via a series of hand positions, along with working intuitively in regards to where the energy wishes to go. The practitioner engages with the energy of the client during a remote reiki treatment for a much longer time (1hr normally) whereas sending reiki distant healing to someone is more similar to a prayer and can be carried out effectively in a few minutes or less usually (or longer, depending on the nature of the situation).
Reiki is a complimentary therapy only and it can provide very effective support for individuals who have a terminal or chronic illness but reiki should NEVER be used as a substitute for medical treatment or advice.
Reiki should not claim to be a cure for any disease or condition nor is it a diagnostic tool. In these cases, please speak to your G.P. for advice.
